What we have here is program that allows us to multitrack (64 tracks), master audio and even burn audio cd's. PeteI am actually baffled the Audio Studio looks and feels almost identical to Samplitude 7! It even loads Samplitude projects without any problem, the only thing missing is VST effects support (but we can fix this with any VST to DX wrapper). (BTW: it has no "Environment", which is not a real biggy - I always thought it got in the way, but it does provide for VST plugin support). I've sent off an email to tech support to see how the two programs are meant to work in tandem. It's actually 2 programs: MIDI Studio (with audio support) and Audio Studio, with more audio bells and whistles. I was ecstatic at first, but I haven't put it through all of it's paces. I install it, and it is obviously an Emagic product.
